Virtual trombone
A real tenor trombone recorded in a room, held notes from the low pedal B-flat up to the F above middle C. Every recording was measured and tuned to the exact pitch. Each note lasts about one breath, and lifting the key ends it cleanly.
On a velocity-sensitive MIDI keyboard, a normal touch plays the warm held note and a hard hit switches to the trombone played loud, with the bright edge it is known for. The arrow keys move the letter keys up and down its range.
